Returning home
There’s just something about returning to yourself in the most ordinary moments.
A few weeks ago, I was doing something simple…
cleaning my room, putting away laundry, organizing my space.
Nothing out of the ordinary.
But as I moved through it, I realized just how much had been sitting, waiting for my attention. Not just physically, but energetically.
And then it clicked.
There was a time not long ago when I wasn’t tending to my space the way I usually do. Not because I didn’t care, but because my attention was elsewhere.
My energy was being poured into something that required a lot of me—
the contract job.
And just like that, a realization came over me:
What if that opportunity moved out of the way…so I could come back to myself?
As a loss? As something taken from me?
No.
But as something that completed its role.
Because in this moment, I’m not rushed.
I’m not overwhelmed.
I’m not scattered.
I’m here.
Present. Grounded. Resetting my environment and, in turn,
resetting myself.
It made me reflect on something I’ve been embodying more deeply lately:
Life is always aligning with the state that I’m in.
There’s no real separation between me and what’s unfolding around me.
So, when something exists, it doesn’t always mean something went wrong.
Sometimes it simply means the alignment shifted.
And maybe—just maybe—that space was needed.
Because I’ve always realized this:
You can receive in chaos…
but you can’t always hold them there.
You can’t fully extract the value.
You can’t fully experience what it’s meant to give you.
But in clarity?
In calm?
In alignment?
You don’t just receive.
You recognize.
You understand.
You integrate.
So, while in that moment of cleaning my, I did more than just organize my space.
I came back to myself.
